Also, the vertical tubes are no longer there. But the welds seem pretty good so not too concerned with the strength of them.
Thanks for the reply! My follow-up is -> Do you think the panel is up to the task of taking on a rock impact? I don't want to come off like some super hard-core guy. But the trails in Ohio are mostly dirt/mud and interlaced with rocks and trees. If I were to slide down and a rock hit the panel do you think it would bend the plate? I am okay with paint touch-up... Just concerned about the plate being bent. Especially since they are not removable. I wheel pretty often and don't mind getting dirty. But when I'm done its time to clean and repaint. (Most think I'm a mall crawler).
