Default SRC side armor smittybilt mounting

I got a pair of the side armor from ebay land and it came with no instruction and no bolts. Am I to use the factory bolts or am I missing some parts and need to hit the hardware store?

I am about to try to put mine on today. You don't need any hardware. You take the two nuts to the side of the main body mount bolt off at both the front and rear body mount. Slide the armor on and put the nuts back. You can probably find the directions on the Smittybilt site.

Since they've already been on a JK yours might actually just go on. Many have fit issues (mine do) and I'll need to enlarge the front most bolt hole. There are several threads here about installation and issues with these. Good luck!

Awesome.. Thank you.. Its too bad they have issues because they are the best looking in the bunch IMO.

Yes I had to drill out the front most hole.. They look great but go ahead and plan on a drill for the install

Can you use these with a body lift since they use the body mounts? Just ordered them and didn't even think about that

Don't see why not .. these mount underneath the body to frame mounts, and the body lift spacers are above and the spaces come with extended hardware so all should work out
