Default Started My Install

Over the past few days the parts I ordered thru Northridge4x4 and 4wd.com have been arriving at my house. Today I installed the LoD front mid-width. The install was very straight forward with the directions I found on this site. Thanks WOL.

I also installed my winch since I was working on the front. I got everything hooked up and I thought that I was good to go. I checked to make sure that winch was in good order. The light on the hand control came on, even better. When I tried to reel it out, NOTHING. I can hear the winch and it sounds normal. But the line is not moving.

This winch has been sitting dorment for the past year while I was in Iraq. I took it off my last Jeep right before I left. It was working then.

Any suggestions?

This weekend I will finish the install of the front skid plate, LoD rear bumper, 3" Teraflex, front drive shaft, gears (when I can find someone to install them), and rims/tires.

Thanks for all the help.

It's not something silly like having the clutch lever in the wrong position, is it?

I was going to write that, but I forgot. It is not the knob, I made sure of that.

The clutch just may not be engaging. you may want to open it up and take a look.
