Default Steel wheels w/hubcentric rings

Anyone running Pro Comp or Black Rocks steel wheels with hubcentric rings? What size?

Kinda like wheel spacers- just another thing that will go bad and keeps the wheel (solely) from resting against the hub. There are a few wheels out there that have 71.5-72ish mm bores that I would only use INCLUDING the stockers.

Hub centric wheels shouldn't be an issue. If you use the right lugnut, they will center the axle and allow it to be clamped to the hub.

This is definitely a debatable topic. You will hear differing opinions. Obviously, a lot of people run aftermarket wheels without hubcentricity (is that a word?), whether via rings or having the correct center bore. I don't doubt that the correct lugnut will center the wheel on the axle, but it is the weight on all the lugs that scares me, especially on an off road vehicle.

I personally prefer my weight to be evenly spread with the wheel and lug nuts. I think putting all the weight on the lugs is dangerous. I went with AEV Savegre wheels and they are awesome, and I don't have to worry about my lugs. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of wheel options that are hubcentric, and only a few more aftermarket wheel manufacturers make the rings.

All MOPAR and AEV wheels are hubcentric (no rings), and I think Rugged Ridge might be too. Again, my personal opinion is you go that route. Here are my AEVs (alloy). BFG Muds 32s on 17s. TF leveling kit is happening soon FWIW too, Mopar makes steelies that look similar to pro comp rocks, but are more $.
