I have the same problem. How can I check caster? What should the length of my lower control arms be? My lift can with a cam bolt. RE 3.5".

Default Currie Steering Components

I was all over the place too. Almost like it had a mind of it's own. Like any lifted Jeep, I more than accepted it and never thought twice.

Then, one day, I replaced the steering components. The difference is really significant. My geometry didn't really change, but I went from stock to a much, much beefier Currie system. May be my imagination, but I think it made a huge difference.

Update:

I finally had time to take to the dealer. They checked it out. They said the alinement was off and had to adjust the camber. They said the camber needed to be adjusted to put more of the tires surface on the ground. They were right, it rides great now. Akins ford dodge jeep/wild willies offroad fixed me up. No more wandering jeep!

Outside of offset balljoints, I'm curious to learn how that non adjustable adjustment was completed. Do you mean caster and if so then I'd still be confused about the "more tire surface" statement which would more apply to camber?

That is what they told me. I do not claim to be an expert. What I do know is I saw them put the jeep on the alinement lift, adjust a few things and now it drives great. Tracks like a corvette now.

Yea... Camber can not be adjusted stock. Curious what your numbers were ?
Neg camber is usually a sign of bent C's or in my case my balljoints were shot. The readings were all over the place.

Assuming they made a caster adjustment. At 3.5-4" of lift increases Ds Angle. Not a good thing. Keep close eye on the Rzeppa joint for grease slinging out.

I'm also very curious how to adjust the Camber on a JK. I'm curious if the dealer installed offset balljoints under warranty for you because like the other guy said that's the only way we know of to adjust camber.

There are no off set ball joints of any kind. I think you can adjust camber by adjusting your lower pr upper control arms (or pinion angle). I could be wrong, like I said before I am no expert.

There are offset ball joints. Tire factory quoted me like 250 installed and they have to do while on alignment machine cause they press fit and have to have em perfect
