Default Steering and Font end problems

I have a 4" Rough Country Suspension lift with dual steering stabilizers. Also i have 20x10.5" wheel and a 35x12.5" tire. When i first put it on i noticed a lot of popping and skweeking in the entire front end but i hit it up with some silicone spray and there is no noise. But there is still some slight popping when im making turns mostly at speeds under 5mph or a slight dry turn. But now my alignment is starting to freak me out. my steering wheel is getting looser and looser. when i make a right hand turn and get back on a straight away my steering wheel stays at a right and and vise versa. Also when i hit a bump with my right tire my will stay cocked to the right! This cant be good. Its pulling all over the road, Its feels very floaty. it pulls to the right or to the left when im braking depending on the slope of the road. ITS GETTING WORSE AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!? can anyone please shed some light.

After installing the crappy lift, did you re-center your steering wheel?

After getting those MASSIVE wheels, did you dial in your toe?

With such a tall lift, have you addressed pinion angles?

With such a tall lift, have you installed adjustable control arms?

When the suspension was installed, did everything get torqued to spec?

Yes very crappy lift! Custom off road evolution 4" will be coming soon. I installed it myself and torque to spec. but i brought it in to have everything else done to it. But i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt fix anything at all. Should i bring it in to have it looked at again. Im just tired of spending money on some greasy fat guy that doesnt know what he is doing.

Check the Write-Up section of JK-Forum. There's articles showing you how to re-center your steering wheel and set the toe.

But, do you have adjustable control arms?

Do you have a 2DR or 4DR?

Being that you have a 4dr, your rear control arms should be fine. However, with the front you need to get at the least adjustable lower control arms to dial in your caster ~5-6 degrees. This should help with the flighty feeling...

Like what the other members mentioned earlier look at the write-up section it will allow you to tweak your alignment/steering (re-centering your steering wheel & adjusting the toe, etc..) yourself which could save you some money and give you the assurance that the job was done right...

What a bunch of idiots! It has nothing to do with the quality of the lift at all.

Have you had your suspension components re-torqued since you put the lift on? If not, have a quality shop do that, and your troubles should go away. After you install a lift, everything will loosen up in about 100-500 miles. This is normal for EVERY lift. You said you put the lift on yourself. How do you know you got everything torqued back to spec in the first place?

That's the most important thing to consider with any lift. A lot of people put their lifts on and then don't get it retoqued and post up crying about DW, etc. It's common. If you used a torque wrench, then there's a good chance you got everything torqued right. BUT, you should've hit all of the suspension bolts, even the ones you didn't loosen. Have them retorque that bastid, and then tell me that it's the lift's fault that it feels loose and wobbly. Good luck, keep me posted.
