Thanks! Absolutely ill let you know what they say.

One other thing to check is the steering shaft where it comes through on the engine side of the firewall. There is a black plastic bushing on the shaft that has been known to slide out of postion (down the shaft). When this happens the steering shaft will develop play leading to a loose feeling in the steering.

To remedy, tap the black plastic bushing back up into the firewall. Some guys have used a hose clamp on the shaft to keep the bushing in place. I used epoxy on mine when I had the shaft out for the Hemi conversion.

Best of luck,

-Randy

Check your trackbar extension. The screw on end of mine was loose on mine. Also pitman arm going to draglink needed tightening. Those needed to be tightened up on mine. Mine was popping cause extension on trackbar would flex some. Check to make sure the steering stabilizer bracket bolts aren't rubbing the tie rod. I had that happening too. Everytime I rotate my tires I am gonna check bolts.

If the lift was installed correctly you wouldn't be having any of these problems.
If you installed it and used a torque wrench why would you have them check it out. Loosen everything up and then tighten everything with the Jeep on the ground and make sure your steering is centered.

That kit comes with CAM bolts. Did you install them? Was the caster adjusted correctly at that time? Have they slipped, lowering your caster again?

Definitely something to look at, in addition to the trackbar and brackets. You might also want to remove the trackbar and check to see if the mounting holes are wallowing out.

I hope this is a TYPO , because not everyone that posted made that comment about the quality of the lift, but rather gave suggestions to try and find a solution for his dilemma...

what he said, You should really get in the habit of check bolts often, before and fater trail rides, and during oil changes.

If you wheel the jeep enough, it will knock things loose.

Exaclty my problem. The guy down the road decided not to let the county scrape the road. He is dumb and his tractor isn't big enough to do the job. So it like an obsticle course every day going thru there. I wouldn't call this lift junk cause I have gave it hell so far and stuff is going to loosen up.

Sorry for the misunderstanding aldaman! That was definitely NOT directed at you. You said nothing idiotic!

It was mostly directed at SuffolkJK. He comes into every thread that mentions RC and starts talking his sh!t and never ran an RC lift in his life. Just ignorant douchebaggery on his part. Plus he then got the OP agreeing that the lift is crappy, when the OP's probs were probably caused by his own ignorance and failure to maintain his rig properly. It's just sad.
