Default steering issues...

I've noticed that after cranking the wheel far left or right the steering wheel seems to lose center....? I've double checked to make sure everything is tight but nothing seems to be helping. I could be driving down the road straight without a problem but soon as I make a u turn and straighten out the wheel seems to be cocked to the left, same goes for making hard rights.
Anybody else experience this? Any suggestions?

Snatch up and down on the drop pitman arm and see if it loose. If it moves at all it is probably bad. Mine did that.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. It was my drop pitman arm. The diameter of the opening going onto the sector shaft was too small so the arm wouldn't go up enough. It was ok for a few months but after a couple of wheeling trips it loosened up. I had exact same symptoms. It would off center from a turn and if I jerked the wheel it would straighten up until the next turn. For me the answer was to ditch the drop pitman and run a drag link flip

I had this exact same problem... after raking my brains for a few months, we found out that it was caused by my trackbar drop bracket moving just enough laterally to cause it to go off center one way or another.

EDIT: Just noticed you have a Full Traction Ultimate Lift - so, your setup probably does not have drop brackets for the trackbar. Possible areas I'd check would be your Pitman Arm, Front Trackbar, Drag Link or possibly Tie rod. Also, check to make sure your Steering Stabilizer is secure.

He does have a drop trackbar bracket. Theres no way it will move laterally.

Not saying it would; Mine was a Rough Country Drop Bracket - and that's what was causing my issues.

The RC doesn't have the support the FT drop bracket does, different animal I guess.
I have a FT drop bracket in my garage, you need it?

True that. I've never seen what the FT bracket looks like but the RC bracket would shift a little even when torqued down. After the JKS trackbar brace was installed, I did away with the drop bracket completely.

Make sure you have the correct diameter bolts in the front tracking bar. I installed my lift and later aded sleeves and c-gussets and somewhere in the process ended up with slightly smaller bolts for the tracking bar. That slight movement could change the steering center.
