Default Steering shimmy/vibration question?

It appears that I get a shimmy/shake between 60-70mph, and it only happens when I am weighted down with cargo. Its also intermittant, it will happen for a mile or two, then stop for a while. Any thoughts? My specs are below.

Everything appears to be in check. I have heard of bad shocks causing problems, but not speed related?

Just balanced 1000 miles ago. Balljoints check out good, replaced with prosteers.

I think it is these damn piece of %$@% GY MTRs. Nobody can balance them. Goodyear sucks to deal with also.

I know you just got them balanced, but what you might want to try, just to be sure, is rotate the fronts to the rear, then re run the situation. I had the same problem myself, and have suggested this to others with the same results.

Even though you just had them balanced, tires can go out of balance quickly, depending on the type of driving you do, how often you wheel, etc.

It's just my opinion, but I would give it a try, you may be surprised.

My friend was having similar issues and went through a slew of fixes until he finally pulled his steering stabilizer OEM shock off and the damn thing was shot and I mean dead. He replaced it with a rough country dual shock set up and never had the issue again. You may want to check.

Is the shimmy shake in the steering wheel, but only at certain speeds? Or does everything shake at those certain speeds?
