Steering stabilizer

Another thing to do is to take the Jeep out for a drive without the steering stabilizer on. If you notice violent shaking, then you know that you have a definite issue that needs to be addressed - most likely either the wheels are off balance, alignment is off, trackbar bolts are not torqued down or holes have wallowed out. Steering stabilizer just minimizes some of the feedback you get in the steering from uneven road surfaces or when you have oversized tires that have a larger contact patch on the ground or bump steer.
