Steering Stabilizer
I describe the shimmy as the slight wiggle that occured when hitting bumps prior to the DW I experienced in the past. The DW seams to be fixed, but I'm just a little uneasy with the slight shimmy.
As I said, the shop that worked on it replaced the track bar bushings, welded washers on the wollowed out holes, added a caster kit to correct the geometry, and aligned the front end. All other components (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.) checked out fine. I actually printed out Planman's write-up and handed it to the shop.
I realize that the SS isnt a fix, but the shop feels that everything else is right. All the Jeep dealers around me are clueless...just wondering what else I can do.
Thanks

I agree with the above posters that your shimmy/wobble issue is not your SS. Hell, I run my JK without the damn thing and can barely notice a different. I also gotta agree with Jeepstin about checking your toe in. If you even have a slight bend in your tie rod this will cause an increased toe in, which will definitely give you a good case of the shimmies. Been there done that as we speak.
