I'm in the market for a new steering stabilizer. I'm looking for some feedback or suggestions about different ones people like and ones to stay away from.
Here's the specs and use: It's a 2007 2door X, 35/12.5/R18 nitto trail graplers. Around a 2.5" to 3" of lift JKUR coils, and teraflex puck lift.
I use it as a daily driver, and try to get out on the trails every Sunday. Was kinda leaning towards a dual setup but could go with a good single too. Click image for larger version

Get a relo kit to move it up, then use whichever stabilizer you like. Stock is generally fine, some people like Fox or OME or whatever, others are not running one. Assuming your steering is dialed in, the stabilizer is nice to have, but maybe not something to spend a bunch of money on.

And the dual setups seem to be more for looks than actual functionality.

Duals have a nice tight street feel but from my experience seem to get smashed by steering parts. A relocation with a slightly larger shock works great. Too big can also get mashed.

What he said. Why are you wanting another one?

Get the Fox ATS and don't look back. One of the best mods I've done.

X2 on this! Many will argue that it's a waste of of money or that it's more hype than not. For them it may be but for others it isnt. Mine has made a huge difference in my handling compared to my stocker. Every setup is different and how parts interact as whole is different. I speak from experience when I say that I have no regrets of my Fox ATS.

I wish I could agree with someone other than the Oper on this topic.. But we would prefer a dual setup ourselves.. and not just limited to the stabilizer but the shocks also.

I'm running the bilstien with a rancho relocation bracket. Gets the job done.

And what's your reasoning for a dual setup? Why can't you agree especially when there are many out there who don't even run a stabilizer because their steering and suspension are dialed in properly. My stabilizer is shot so it does absolutely nothing except hold a spot of the jeep and I noticed no difference from when I first got it.

Get your stuff dialed in properly and get a stock stabilizer or get the HD Teraflex one for cheap, or the Bilstein which some people say pushes left I believe. However I do hear great things about the fox ats but the price is just to high for a glorified steering stabilizer. You can build a ram assist for the same price which is more beneficial.

Just relocate the stocker and call it a day. I had Teraflex then Bilstein on my last JK and didn't really make a noticeable change.
