I want to thank you for posting such a great explanatory pic--colors and all! I'm very inexperienced when it comes to working on vehicles, and have always been puzzled by the various parts of the suspension.

Appreciate the help!

The pic is from the DIY alignment write-up, in the write-ups area. Don't know who gets credit for it, but I like it as well.

Browse through those when you have some free time. And the FAQ's have some good info also...

The steering stabilizer helps dampen the side to side wobble associated with bumps.

The difficulty you are having turning the wheel is associated with the larger tires and your power steering pump. You could check the fluid level and even take it to the dealer if it is getting too bad. I have 37's and my power steering pump does not have any problems assisting me with turning the wheel.
yeah i messed up, when i said if i needed a steering stabilizer or not i was referring to an aftermarket one.

My stock steering stabilizer went out puking oil about a month after I bought my Jeep. The Teraflex one was about the same price as a factory replacement and it is twice as strong. Dual stabilizers look nice but are overkill for 35's IMO.

i agree with you totally on the dual stabilizers, they look cool, but are they really necessary!

mines beat all to hell and is not working but im lazy and havent ordered a new one. Yeah i can tell its out but it still drives ok. Im going ot get the tera flex one and go ahead and get woods kit to relocate it. I only want to have to replace it once its ina real bad spot.
