Default Steering Stabilizer Gravity...

What stabilizer are most people running? I pulled mine off last night and it looks like that. That is after 24k miles. I could never figure a way to keep that stabilizer from dropping. The U bolts would eventually allow the stabilizer to hit the tie rod bar. My tie rod could only do about 1/2 of the travel it seems to have. I am thinking this is why my steering wouldn't recenter sometimes when I took right turns. The tie rod was binding with the steering stabilizer bracket. This is a lot of weight for 2 U bolts. Is my thinking correct? I wanna get one that goes back on like the factory stabilizer. The dent in the stabilizer came from the factory like that. Any input would be appreciated.

I'm running the Teraflex 9550 stabilizer and it's awesome. It's really strong and warrantied for life against defects.

Took my stock one off and it felt like a screen door shock

I have the Zone SS. Got a quick question about steering stabilizers though, what is there purpose? Mine has been sitting in the shed for almost a year. What kind of a difference will I notice?

Depends on the valving. There is actually nothing wrong with the stock stabilizers, they work fine for most lifts. The aftermarket ones are just 'heavier duty', and may help to mask other steering issues...

I'm using the Teraflex HD SS. It was cheap and heard good things about it.
I've been using it for a few days now and seems great so far.

I think I am gonna go with that one. It sits below the tie rod like the stock one did. Why does the tie rod need to move like it does?

I read one time you had to bleed the fox steering stabilizer because it would want to pull to one side of the road. Is that true? That is alot to drop on the steering stabilizer..
