I had my SS replaced under warranty, and they put a different kind of mount on the tie rod. It did not have U-Bolts but wrapped all the way around the tie rod I have yet to see any like it other than mine.

I didn't have problems with the u bolt on the tie rod. The problem comes from the U bolts that hold the bracket to the axle. It seems to be to much weight and over time the bracket starts limiting tie rod movement. You got any pictures of this steering stabilizer?

Did they mount that backwards? That is a really small stabilizer.

I just fitted the Teraflex stabilizer - figured my stock one was probably due for replacement as I have over 80K miles on my unlimited. Took 10 minutes to install and there were zero issues - seems to have made the steering a little smoother/heavier. Interestingly enough, the stock one that I removed still had strong and even damping in both directions.

I had the Teraflex HD Steering Stabilizer, but it started leaking not too long after I got it. Now I'm running the OEM one again with no problems yet.

I want something simple to put on. The one built on with the u bolts for the axle is a little harder to get on there. I hit my knuckle a few times taking it off when the wrench would slip.

You got any pics of it. Does it mount below the tie rod? The fox stuff does look cool. Plus if you don't have to fool with changing it for a long time it might be worth the money.

I use the Teraflex as well. I have also relocated it with a relocation bracket from Dominion Off Road...avail from one of the site sponsors !

In a pinch a stabilizer from a 97-06 TJ will work, dont ask how I know that
