Default Steering Stabilizer, is this right?

I put my new ss on yesterday but it rubs a little. Is this normal for the teraflex ss or do I have to relocate it?

Sorry it's a crappy cell pic.

this is fine and most likely caused from your tie rod being bent just a tad. loosen up the nuts on the u-bolts on the tie-rod mount and then rotate the stabilizer down just a bit. tighten up the nuts on the u-bolts and that will take care of what you are seeing.

Thanks. I was thinking that yesterday too. I'll get it taken care of this weekend.

The instructions tell you to loosened the 2 bolts to move it away. It didn't hit on my jeep at all, but I still moved it a bit to be safe.

Hmm... I guess I should have read them. I glanced at them, but didn't really read them. I normally read them, but the ss seemed too straight forward to have any special instructions. I'll fix it this weekend.

from the way i see it in the picture, it seems to be mounted backwards. The stock ones mount where the shock tube is bolted to the tie rod end

You could be right I guess? I just looked it up and see it mounted both ways. It may just be time for the relocation bracket anyway.

I want to say that I've heard that you can flip it the other direction if its rubbing. Shouldn't matter which direction you have it - should do the same thing either direction. You could try that.

Anyone want to chime in agreeing/disagreeing?

*Edit - just saw the post above about flipping it. And yes, a relocation bracket is definitely a good idea. Check out the one on Wood's site.
