If your stock SS is trashed, sure go for the good deal...
Otherwise, paying high dollar for a SS is pretty stupid.

Sounds like what you really NEED to invest in is a SS relocation bracket so it doesn't happen again.

I'll run my stock SS till I can someday afford PR60 and PSC hydro assist

It's in a horrible spot! I got this kit Jeep JK Steering Stabilizer and haven't looked back and haven't had any problems! You can just get the bracket and then get the fox one from your buddy. Just my

Relocate your SS. I've used a couple different SS's in the past and I went back to the stock one with the Woods relocate bracket (Jeepswag). I think the stock SS is as good as any out there. I haven't tried Fox.....too expensive!!! I think you're just paying for the name. Good luck!

I had to replace the stock the third time I bashed it. Couldn't turn passenger. Borrowed a Procomp for a couple weeks and have been running the JKS for a few months. Can't tell the difference between them. I've heard of problems with gas charged, mostly Bilstens pull to the side. Does the new Fox run straight?
