Default Steering Wheel Revolutions....question???

Replaced all front end components and I continue to get the ESP BAS warning lights at full lock when making a U turn or backing my boat at sharp angles. It will turn off quickly after going straight for a few seconds/minutes.

This morning I re-centered the steering wheel with the procal and same problem. I noticed that when reversing into full lock the steering wheel makes the below revolutions:

To the right, 1.5 turns to full lock.

To the left, 2.25 turns to full lock.

Should this be equal, both directions requiring the same amount of revolutions to full lock?

Thanks.

I have the exact same issue. Did you ever figure out the fix?

Yes, they should be the same......around 1.75 or close on my 2dr.

Forward or reverse won't matter since your steering doesn't know.

Mine is 1.75 to the right and a little over two to the left..... It pops a code right before two revolutions . It's annoying. The tires don't continue turning past 1.75

Mine doesn't matter if I'm going foward or backward either. I guess it isn't "exactly" the same.
