Default Stinger for the Rear

Has anyone ever thought about this idea? I know it'd be kinda difficult because of swinging tailgate but wouldn't a stinger on the rear be more helpful than the one on the front? I noticed that there are some spare tire carriers that look like stingers. And most flips happen going up and then flipping backwards.

Another role of the front stinger is to help protect the radiator if you have a roll over (versus end over) so you can still drive it.
