I love my stinger! It's especially nice on the road, people think twice about cutting me off and get out of my way when they are doing 25mph in a 45mph zone....

IMO, is there really a need for a stinger in Long Island....probably not. In Moab, Utah, yes. I remember dropping off The Fall on Steelbender a couple years ago, when there was no rocks piled on the bottom. The rear tires came OFF the ground! Balancing on the front tires and front bumper! Here is my wife driving off The Fall with a bunch of rocks piled on the bottom...

If you actually read my post, I said, "...unless you actually wheel that hard to roll end over end going forward." There is no reason to have it on Long Island. Plus, if you read where the O.P. is located, he's on Long Island as well. I don't wheel on Long Island, there isn't any wheeling here. But, in all the other states I go to, MOST trails don't have severe drop offs, unless you're looking for them. So no, I don't need it on Long Island, nor do any of the members in the NEA club I'm with run one. Different wheeling, different trails.

That's so true!
There's a lot of things people buy and won't get the benefit from owning but to each there own it's their money and what makes one person happy turns off another. Oh well, but that's why we live in this great country...would suck if we all drove the same white yugo's......so we each get to decide for ourselves what we want and need. Most likely a waste of money if the trails/terrain don't warrant them.
