Stock tire carrier with 35" tire issues?
Or-fab carrier can be had pretty cheap, works great, looks great. Seems to fit your needs.
then it will be front bumpe,r lights , axle gussetts ball joints , weak axle joints , the wheels and tires caused all these things to be done soon !
dont worry your not alone ! though you might be when your wife hears all these things that are now underway

I live on pretty flat ground and don't really do any off roading, all of this stuff is just pretty cosmetic for me. A guy at the tire store said" now you just need to put it in the mud" I looked at him and said " why" then I'd just have to clean it, lol, yes I'm OCD about it being clean, sounds weird for a jeep owner I know, but I just like the clean look, wife says I'm gonna rub the paint off of it
with my harley to neat freak on it but the jeep is impossible to keep clean you can wash it and 5 min later you hit a puddle and its filthy
ahhh you have the steps those keep it cleaner !!
very nice jeep love the color too

If it won't fit inside a 2 door jk without rear seats I probably don't need it.
The fullest it gets is when we goto a Jamboree like the one in North central PA, I pack my standard hard case of tools, emergency trailside repair stuff, replacement vehicle fluids, then medium sized hard case with gopro cameras and assorted accessories and battery chargers, long weekends worth of assorted clothing and toiletries, and my go bag (Everyone should have a go bag, it is two complete change of clothes, one for the expected weather and one for the exact opposite of predicted weather, basic toiletries plus 3-4 days of any prescription meds and any over the counter meds, spare sun glasses, spare prescription glasses and/or contact lenses if applicable, sunblock, aloe Vera for sunburn! A pair of really warm smart wool socks, a collapsible rain coat and a pair of Gore Tex rain pants, a really good headlamp w/spare set of batteries and a beat up baseball hat or full brim foldable sun/rain hat)
45 quart Yeti cooler, everything is ratcheted down with ATV straps, they keep the load from shifting all over and act as a moderate theft deterrent, that leaves the Jeep less than half full, the rest of the space goes right up to the ceiling in back with projects, books etc. for my wife to do while I'm out on the trails...she had lower back injury years ago and can't safely go Jeeping, horseback riding etc.

I ran almost 2 years on the OEM carrier then it started to make a slight popping sound as I drove down the road. I never saw any broken spot welds but the poping go annoying enough I finally bought a teraflex carrier and the popping went away.
