Default Stock tirecarrier with 33's w/ poll

After seeing a similar thread for 35's, I figured I'd make one for 33's. Post your experiences with the stock carrier and 33's and any mods you did to it.

Right now I'v got 33'' Duratracs on 15'' soft 8's with 4'' of backspacing. My stock bumpstops don't touch the tire anymore. I plan on getting the LOD tire carrier when I have $1200 to spare, but that could be awhile and I want to make sure I'm safe for now or if I really need to get extended bumpstops.

Like I said in the other thread, my factory tire/wheel ruined my hinges. I dont think jeep used stout enough hinges or sheetmetal to hang a tire of any size off it.

Default No problems

Been running 33" Procomp Xtreme Mud Terrains on Procomp Xtreme wheels for over a year on a JK and have had no problems with the tailgate. And spent half the summer 4-Wheeling.

I've only had the 33's on for about two weeks, but no problems so far. I did add the Daystar Tire Isolators.
