Stripped Bolt -- JK can't go anywhere -- What do I do?
In short, I am doing my JK's automatic transmission fluid. When undoing one of the Torx-25 bolts that hold the filter in place, my 25-bit snapped; stripping the head of my torx-25 bolt (star shaped one).
What do I do? How do I get this bolt out?
Thanks!

Yup, easy out should do it. Auto parts store or Sears has them. I have a whole range of sizes. Even ones that fit on the outside of a nut. I had to use one once when I stripped the tranny drain plug on my TJ.

Make sure you keep the metal filings out the the trans and keep it clean so you don't have problems later. Even a little dust in some transmissions have caused shifting problems.

I got it out using PO'd super strenght and pliers. Seriously. Got a new bolt and almost done but one more problem... there is a hex bolt -- my last one out of 13 -- that attaches the sump pan to the transmissions case. My gasket is in the way. Even when getting the bolt on top of the hole, it will not thread in.
I got all the others ones in including the other two bolts that are tough to loosen/tighten because of the gasket in the way.
Any suggestions to getting this bolt to thread?
Auto 2dr, by the way.
Thanks for all of your help so far.

best thing to do is keep all bolts loose until all bolts are started and then tighten them in crisscross pattern, so if you have some already tight loosen them and start the other bolt, and make sure you have the gasket on with the correct side up so all the holes are lined up exactly

i have not looked at the bolts on the JK.... but you shure that its a 25 torx? and not a allen? i may be wrong but a # 25 seems to be a little small...

I loosened all of the bolts but it still didn't budge. Such a simple task has become frustrating. Hmm... before I call it quits for now. I'm going to just undo every bolt except for a couple and hopefully adjust the sump pan in a way that will get that one bolt in.
