Stubby bumpers
Hey everyone,
I'm looking at getting a new bumper and I want it to be a stubby, but I don't know which one to get. I'd like to keep my factory fog lights and I'm not going to have a winch on it (yet). What do you guys thing would be best?

if you need to keep your fog lights and plan on getting a winch some day, i would recommend an lod stubby front bumper. hanson also makes a nice bumper that will suit your needs too.
Get ready for a bunch of opinions and pictures. There are a number of really good and nice looking stubby bumpers out there. You're gonna have to do some research to narrow down what you are looking for. There are many things to consider such as:
Since I said you would get a bunch of opinions and pictures, I may as well offer mine. I've got a Poison Spyder Brawler Lite with brawler bar. I chose this bumper because I think it is very well built, and is one of the best looking bumpers on the market. I bought it second hand from someone who bought it powder-coated from Northridge 4x4. By the time I got it there was some significant scratching and chipping on the powder-coating so I bedlined it with Duplicolor aerosol bedliner. The project turned out great. I've attached some images below. If you are interested in more details about the bedlining effort, peruse my photo album on the subject by clicking here.

Good luck in your research and choice!
- Price
- Winch vs no winch
- Top mount vs. between rail mount winch
- bull bar/stinger vs. none
- modular vs. non-modular
- Is weight a factor?
- D-ring shackles or not
- Keeping factory fogs vs. not
