Default Suggestions please!

I am getting ready to order my 3 inch lift for my 2 door Sahara(also on order) and have a few ??? for the more knowledgeable jeepers on the forum..

I am going to use my Jeep 75% of the time on the road the other 25% of the time on moderate trails.. So road handling is more important than flex..

What 3"kit, as well as what shocks with that kit ,would give me the performance I seek??

Cost is less of a concern than proper performance of the suspension is.. I am also going with 35's on stock rims with 1.5" spacers..

So what kit and shocks would you recommend??

So please point me in the right direction guys..

Thanks

I don't think anyone has actually done a "seat of the pants" comparison of the various lifts on the Jeeps. There seem to be advantages and disadvantages to each one. I have the Teraflex 3" and the 1 advantage I think that it has is a better/stronger rear track bar bracket. I have seen pictures already of JKs with the factory axle-mounted track bar brackets rippped off when using "riser" brackets (which bolt to the axle instead of the frame). I know that Skyjacker and Rancho both use this type of bracket. I don't think anyone really knows which lift "rides" better yet or what the differences in spring rate is between the companies. If I was to build the exact kit I wanted it would probably use various pieces from several different manufacturers.

I realize your asking about a different kit, but let me pipe in that mine wanders around with a 2.5BB, 1.5 spacers, and 35's on my stock 18's. I can handle it, but I know a few people that I would not let drive it around some of the rough backroads I travel around on a lot.

I don't know what lift Rubimon has on his, but he said something about his doing the same thing. This may be something condusive to the 2Dr's with the short wheelbase. I think most people that have lifts on here have the 4 doors, so there really is not an abundance of info just yet.
