Where can I find more info on the Adventure inovations set up?

And I guess currently for the JK the SC companies are:
Adventure Innovations
Avenger
Hesco
Ripp Mods

Any thoughts on who's set up is best? I find myself getting greedy with my JK mods lately and this could be a fun one.

Does Adventure Innovations ever plan on updating their website to show the new blower off? And actually list the JK stuff? At least my wife drives a TJ so there is value there.

Personally I feel a Roots type or Twin Screw would be a better match for the Jeep.
It's not very often I'm over 3k RPM while crawling on the trails.

My Hesco builds boost and increases power farther down in the rpm's than 3000. I can feel the difference and see it on my boost gauge off idle. Of course the higher the rpm's the higher the boost. 2 psi at lower rpm's makes quite a difference on driveability and 6 psi makes a lot of difference at higher rpm's. Wish I could give you the science behind it but all I can tell you is it does make a difference.

ummm..yeahh....pretty much the math is more like 230-123=107 (35") & 240-133=107(Stock tires)

Still reading, but I'm curious what our 3.8s are built out of? Not likely we have forged pistions, rods, much less crank.

I agree. I say it every time people bring it up. If I were going to SC my Jeep I would go with Avenger SC (roots style). I road in their lifted 6" on 37's with 5.13 and that mother flew. It pulled from 0-80 with no problem (up hill I might add).

Well I'm totally clueless just about all the way around when it comes to all of this, but since I've started upgrading the Jeep, a bit more power couldn't hurt.

How will adding this kind of HP to our engines effect the life of the engine/drivetrain and their parts?

If it blows itself all to hell within 10 or even 20k miles it hardly seems worth the 5k.

Only thing that conserns me is the plots start at 3k Id like to see them from Idle up.

I also find the INCREASE in milage very hard to believe with a SC installed. Must be some pretty trick computer work.
What makes anybody think they can add 80 HP to a stock JK motor with no consequences? That's what I wanna know. I think that has to be the definition of a moron. Spend 5K to blow your motor up.

We COULD have all that stuff and it wouldn't matter until the heads were reworked. To do one RIGHT for a blower absolutely would require chunkin those stretch to yield head bolts in the garbage, fire ringing the heads and some heavy duty gaskets. Maybe copper. You're on the right track with the bottom end. Some of these folks just don't get it. You have to build a blower motor. I don't give a rat's butt what kinda "protective" devices some of these kits have. These motors just ain't made for supercharging. That doesn't mean they can't be. You'd just have a LOT more than 5K in one to do it right. THEN you might could run 25 pounds of boost. Even at these low levels of boost these systems run, there is a huge chance the stock head gaskets will be compromised. Anybody that says different doesn't know a lot about supercharging.
