I had 35" Super Swamper SSR radials and they have been on my old truck for 5 years with plenty of tread still on them. This particular model lasted pretty well they were noisy on the highway though. My Toyo MT's run way quieter and still look really aggressive.

Km2 will wear like iron. If you're really worried about treadwear then stay away from swampers. They can last a while with good maintenance but the km2 will outlast them by a mile.

Run two set of tires, swampers for wheeling something else for daily use. You will love the super swampers when wheeling

I've had two sets of swampers, TrXus and Iroks and love them both. I'm running with the Iroks now and they are AWESOME!!! They have a mild hum on the road, but not enough to bother. They are a soft tire so you will have replace them earlier than a standard tire but that's the price of having good tires. Hope this helps.
