It's pretty straight forward and well laid out. Instructions are great. Allow yourself plenty of time. Mine took almost 11 hours over a few days to complete. Part of that was dealing with the tunes too. One tip that makes life easier is to remove the passenger side fender liners. In my case its easy to do with metal cloak inner fenders. Good luck and enjoy.

Another thing your gas mileage will get worse. Mine is going from bad to worse because I can't stay off the pedal, it's just so much more fun to drive now.

So - at the end of the day - this thread reads...

The RIPP Supercharger delivers what it says its delivers... an additional 100-130RWHP and 100ft/lbs of trq along with 1-4 more MPG and installs easily for a reasonable price. If you find one used (which is a testament to it's integrity, its and even better value). If you want MORE than RIPP and have (a lot) MORE to spend get a V8. But V8 JK's doesn't seem to HIT THE DYNO with huge numbers... ... There are literally 1000's of RIPP clients rolling around the world with reliable HP...

We remind you that - ENGINE Integrity was the name of the game when we designed our systems. Having nearly pioneered supercharging in JK since 2007, there are still GEN1 kits on the road with over 150k on the clock and kit. If you follow our social media 2 different GEN1 kits sent in their SC's for 100k mile service to them. This was posted on both our Facebook and Instagram feeds... The competitors have an option, but overall we feel we fit the JK and its needs better, we have the largest compressor on the market and provide the correct HP keeping reliability in check. We actually have a little more to give, but option out for reliability sake.

Ripp, you have a good product, but I have always preferred a twin screws setup in my mustangs based on my driving style.

When I do drive my jeep, I am either crawling at low rpms or commuting to work though a residential area and rarely get past 2500 rpms. Sprintex fits my needs perfectly.
