Default Superchip questions

I've been running the 87 performance setting and can't see much if any difference from stock. Now that I have 513 gears, I don't need extra performance. I haven't tried mileage setting yet. Does it make much difference in mpg from the stock setting? I know, a Jeep isn't made for mileage, but I like to get the most out of my toys. Also when I was changing the gear ratio setting, I noticed the shifting options. Can someone explain them to me? Is there a sticky or writeup on the Flashpaq that covers all of the different options?

Thanks

Yea... I was kinda wondering the same things. I just got my SuperChips today from Dave at northridge 4x4. GREAT service BTW I give them
but anyways. I saw the optional $40 advanced transmission package and was wondering exactly what it did. What exactly is the benefit of the Advanced trans package for example. It seems like it would be beneficial for differnet gearing as you can make it hold the gear a little longer before it downshifts... I think. Would it have any other benefits for otherwise stock setups?

BTW I received the Superchips and am running 87 tune on 87 octane gas with NO knocking on my 2010 mountain/automatic. I am very familiar with knock (aka ping) as I had a 90 300zx twin turbo that would overboost on factory injectors (= rattle snakes in the engine lol) it wasn't detonation that killed that motor, but a timing belt tensioner screw fell out and trashed the t-belt and skipped teeth at high speed. Anyways... sorry to derail your thread, but it seems superchips may be starting to work out the ping problem people have been reporting.

I would suggest you get the optional transmission package, play with it, and let me know what it does.
