Default Superchip vs Hyperchip

Trying to decide which one to buy. Hyperchip or Superchip

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of each?

*Hypertech*...?

Search. There's countless pages of information that's already been posted.

Thanks but I've already done the search. Didn't find exactly what I was looking for so I thought I'd reopen the topic. I appreciate you being "one of those" people

I have used 3 different programmers for the JK and hands down the Superchips is the best one buy a landslide. TONS of useful features, easy to use in day or night, free updates by usb port. You can feel and see the honest performance gains. And with all that you still end up with better gas millage than you started with!

People have been having alot of pinging issues with superchips tunes. The superchips have more options but the pinging shut it down for me.

I have a hypertech and love it. I use the premium tune or whatever they call it. Works great, gets good mileage, and i can still change my gear ratios and tire height.

I dont know about "alot" of pinging issues, but I have read of a few. My 2010 Rubicon isnt pinging with any of the Superchips tunes. I'd bet that given the number of units out there, your overall percent of "ping" related issues would be quite small (Vocal.....but small). I've seen Scott from superchips post on here quite a bit to aid with any questions or issues.

After all my research I decided on the superchip and love it. If you can find the article (tried but couldn't) I think it was a JP magazine that compared all of them.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is pinging?

I was reading a post yesterday and saw someone else mentioned that article but he also did not have the link
