The Superchips is a great program tuner that will allow for a boost in power of the Jeep. It will also change throttle sensivity and boost your MPG a little bit.

I run one and my 33s feel better than stock. My Jeep really scoots around!

Default Warranty impact?

I am guessing that it would void the factory warranty.

How much difference will I notice with a stick shift? I need to calibrate my speedometer with my 33's anyway.

They're more popular with auto's as you can adjust the tranny shift points however a very useful feature for stick-shift drivers is that you can adjust the delay of the electronic fly-by-wire throttle. One major complaint of JK's fitted with the 6-speed is that they are very easy to stall out because of this very noticable delay between the time you hit the gas and when the motor responds; reducing this throttle delay is said to really make driving the JK 6-speeds enjoyable again. I subconsciously allow for this delay when clutching as I'm used to it, but I notice the service managers & mechanics at the dealership almost always stall it a few times when they are moving my rig for service.

Good observation. The skinny does seem a little slow to respond, but I got used to it right away. $330 seems a good price, but AEV has a chip for around $150 that will recalibrate the speedometer, which is what I need the most. If I won't see the increased performance I may take the difference and put it towards something else for the Jeep.

So, in your opinion, would it be worth it to chip a six speed?
