superchips & 6 speed
I have a 6 speed 4dr. I recently went to 35's. Is superchips going to help me in gaining some MPG? Everywhere I read it seems to help the automatic not sure about the 6spd.
I have a somewhat similar rig with heavier Toyo MTs w/3.73s and can still pull over 20 highway mpg on longer trips and the highway flats. In round numbers, I see a 1-2 mpg improvement running 87 octane and 2-3 mpg improvement running 93 octane. That is hand calculated numbers and of course things vary enough from tankful to tankful to post exacting numbers.
Where you're located, outside of Charlotte I believe, you might encounter some more rolling hills than I do. 6th gear might be a bit of a challenge at times with highway speeds, but I have found using the higher octane will reduce my downshifts by 50% or more.
I run fat gas in the summer, and regular in the winter just because it takes more time to reach operating temperatures. My guess is that it's a 2 year payback on fuel savings and pretty much instant gratification on the performance aspects.

I have a 6-speed on 35's running 4.88's. Just made the run from SoCal to Moab yesterday. About 300 miles into the trip I broke out the Superchips that my wife got me for Valentines Day and used it. Used the 87 octane setting. Milage went up about 1.5 MPG and I had a noticable increase in power going up hills. RPM's also went down. I'm sold on this thing. Gonna try the crawling setting later this week.
