Default Superchips - Case & Mounting Ideas

Hi Everyone,

I've searched the forum and the Superchips site for some help with mounting suggestions and a protective case. No success (unless I have missed something.)

For the mounting, I'm interested in seeing what others do with the controller for the times when the controller needs to be connected during wheeling. (For example when using the lockers in 4-Hi.) I'm thinking about some sort of velcro setup.

I'm also looking for ideas for a protective case for the programmer for the times it isn't being used.

Pics would be great.

Thanks

Jeff

I have a padded CD case for a single stack of 10 CDs that I use. I removed the CD sleeves and just use the padded case. Both cables and the Flashpaq coil up nicely in it.

for those times it needs to stay connected when moving, I thought about just using a velcro patch and stick it around the drivers side speaker. I also thought about zip tying the cable to somthing secure to make sure I dont accidently pull it out of the connector by accident.

As for storage I thought about "hiding" it somewhere besides the glove boxes. I don't keep it in there now, I just hope the computer doesn't get out of whack and I don't have it in the Jeep. I want to hide it cause some thief will snatch it thinking it looks cool.

I can't imagine a thief breaking in...seeing the Flashpaq and say, "Ohhh I better leave that here, he may need that"
