Default Superchips Flashcal

Mine arrived today. Bought from another vendor. Sorry. I bought to adjust tire size. Followed instructions that came with unit to go to superchips.com for software download to ensure everything was current. None of the software download applications referenced Flashcal so I downloaded the one for Flashpaq and kept my fingers crossed. I was able to get registered then attached the Flashcal as instructed.

First blue screen ever on this computer. Off to a good start. Knowing this is a brand new item without even the ability to update, I did connect to Jeep and was able to change the settings for lights, horns, etc. Everything I really didnt care much about. I had bought it to change tire size. No luck. Would toggle to correct size and OK... "Program Failure" is what the unit displayed. And the setting for tires was unchanged.

Disappointing first impression from Superchips. Will be calling them tomorrow.

After restarting the computer and relaunching the Superchip program, I was finally able to connect the unit and have the program recognize and update the device. Be patient as it takes the computer a few minutes and a few tries to find the device and update the firmware. Screen should look like this:

Brimming with optimism I connected it to the Jeep and got the same result. Would not update tire size, only lights, horn, etc.

Flashcal worked without any problems on my 11' Automatic. Hopefully Superchips gets this figured out for you manual guys.
