Quick question, I usually leave this in the Jeep but it been getting really cold here overnight lower 20's and it's going to get colder as Winter moves closer. Should I take it out and leave it in the house or is it fine where it is?

This will be my Jeep's Flashpaq's first winter, but the one for my truck has been there since 2006 with temperatures below 0 and it continues to work fine.

I am strongly considering superchips, but all this talk of pinging and stuff makes me wary. I do not plan on using anything higher than 87 octane. I will be moving up to 33s soon.

It's a piece of cake and it works, be patient and follow the directions and you will be pleased with the superchip tuner. I have been using the 87 octane tune for about 6 months and have never had any pinging or any other problems with it.

total newbie question....want to get a superchip soon.

Do you remove it from the jeep after the tune and basically just store it for future use ?

Thing is..... me, my mother, and father all have JK's I want to tune them all !!

for the most part. you need it in there for data collection and for the lockers, but if you are just tuning it, you set the tune and don't need it until you want to change or do an update.

1 tuner per jeep, so 3 jks will need 3 tuners if you want them tuned simultaneously.
