Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
You remove after programming your Jeep, but each Flashpaq can only tune 1 Jeep.
You have to set the programmed Jeep back to stock before you program another one.
There are a couple of functions like data collection and rasing idle RPM that require the device connected.

i had pinging on my initial install, but there was a clear problem with the install because i had other issues - no speedo or odometer readings. reinstalled and have not had a problem since. i've tried a variety of settings and have never had pinging return.
for the most part. you need it in there for data collection and for the lockers, but if you are just tuning it, you set the tune and don't need it until you want to change or do an update.
1 tuner per jeep, so 3 jks will need 3 tuners if you want them tuned simultaneously.

Thats a bummer...but I still want one !!
Thanks for all the replies
So you cant shut off that stupid tpms light unless the sensors are still on all five wheels on the jeep? my 4 tires have no sensors but the spare does, this isnt as easy as I thought it would be to program,I guess im the only d---b a-- that is having a hard time trying to figure this thing out, I guess I should of just bought the aev pro cal it looks simple compared to the flashpaq ,for someone like me!
Did you download the off road and off road disable off the superchips website?I downloaded their program today and I didnt see anything about a off road and off road disable program, mine doesnt have the toggle on my tpms screen either,(I know its me not knowing what im doing with this thing)thanks in advance

Great Review.I was traveling up to Mammoth for the open of the ski season, sorely dissapointed at the performance of the engine. After reading your post, I went and purchased a flashpaq. Along with the flashpaq, I also did the cold air intake. Let me tell you, It was like driving a new vehicle. The trans shift points are different, the dynamics of the throttle position and engine response is far better than stock. Also, you have many options to adjust. the biggest surprise, was my MPG went up by 2.3mpg. I still think my spedo is off, in what direction did you change your tire size by a quarter of an inch? up or down?
Just use a gps to calibrate your speedo, dialing up or down your tire size.
If your speedo is too fast, adjust the tire size down, Too slow, adjust tire size up.
Oh and welcome to jk-forum.com!
