Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions

I ordered mine from Northridge4x4's website yesterday. Had a small error with something else I had order. David caught it, called me up to verify and make the correction. Plus everything is showing up today!
The cost of everything and the value of nothing.
On Monday, I got my Flashpaq that I ordered from Northridge4x4. Thanks David.
Today, I registered it, updated it, and then used it. Everything went fine. I was impressed with the setup and the maturity of this product (read: Superchips is not a newcomer to this programmer's space). I used the Quick Tune feature and selected the 93 octane Performance tune. Now armed with a full tank of 93, I will see what this does this week.
It was raining all day, so I wasn't really able to get on it much. That said, I did try coming off of a light one time and it simply broke the rear tires loose (I had disabled ESP). I can't remember if it would even break loose in the rain before, but it sure does now.
Next, I might look into the Advanced Tune at the Tranny shift adjustments (firmness not RPM changes).
Overall, I'm pleased with this one. My plan is to simply run 93 octane daily.

Received yesterday. Updated today in less than 5 minutes. Installed as easy as anything I've tried. If you've been apprehensive about something like this (I had never done a chip or tuner) it's as easy as it gets. A few turn on the key, turn off the key and wait a few minutes while it builds and then uploads a file - and viola it's done.
It will take a little time to see results. Went out for a short drive but because I have a 6-speed, I never notice any power issues. I'll see tomorrow on the highway and in the mountains and mileage. So far it's easy and problem free. Mine was manufactured on 4/30 so it is about as up-to-date as anything.

Hey Pastor Steve,
Can you post what the latest software revision is?
I'm also glad the tuning was easy for you. Having one of the very first ones they had missed some of the dialog on the tuner, which left with a brief moment of panic, but all went OK and I just recalled that on my truck this would be the point it would tell me to turn my key to the off position. Called the next morning fixed by the end of the day so no one besides me had to scratch their head and say uuuuhhhh waiting for instructions of what to do next. Just an oversight on their part as I'm sure they are tuning and untuning vehicles on such a regular basis that it's all second nature. Again it was fixed quick and I can now just be as obedient as a well mannered 2nd grader awaiting for the next set of instructions to tune my jeep.

Hey JPop, I know you asked Pastor Steve about his software version, but I thought I would chime in with mine.
My Flashpaq came in on Monday and has a build-date of 4/20/2009. The first thing I did was go to the internet and search to see if any newer updates were there. There was a newer version that did download into my unit. I'm now running: V1.14.09, Car DB v142, Gas Truck DB v271. Hope this helps.

Thanks Hombres!
That's a few versions beyond what mine is so I guess I'll do the upgrade.
There's a couple little annoyances that are probably solved and I need to make sure I'm up to date (ie have my monitor plugged in) before I call support.

I'm not sure but It's probably the same as Sunburst. I don't show rock crawl mode but it lets me go all the way into axle lock. I also have two idle modes. One is idle up and the other is idle set but I haven't played with that yet.
