That would be sick. Android and iPhone apps with a peripheral. Superchips would make a killing.

I agree an app is the way to go. I could use my iPad or phone.

A dockable ipad addresses a lot of my future feature wants/needs of things well beyond having it take care of my vehicle programming. However I'm not holding my breath as it's been nearly 10 years since the ipod's inception and we are only now getting to a point where you have real functionality of it's use in conjunction with a vehicle off the dealers lot. I also think the ipad has some growing up to do to make it really functional for all the promise it has.
