Not to change the subject, but this sucks for those of us with the Hypertech unit. Wonder why they aren't developing a new software version - they certainly have been asked!

I was wondering the same thing as well. I was on the fence about purchasing the Superchips when I already had the Hypertech. I am glad I purchased the SC..I saw an increase in power and other cool features (i.e-crawling, idle up, TPMS, etc) that is lacking from the Hypertech.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for letting us all know that this option is available! I will be taking care of this tomorrow! I just got the check engine light off and am annoyed by the TPMS light. Get that turned off and it'll be like having a brand new JEEP!

What are the exact steps you are going through? A lot of people are having issues because they are turning the key to 'acc' instead of 'on'. Others are having issues because they are not VIN locking the tuner before trying to download the tpms disable. You have to install a tune (VIN lock it) before you can download and enable the tpms functionality...

Also, are you selecting the right tpms download function? One is to enable the tpms disable when offroad, the other is to remove the tpms functionality from the tuner. (the descriptions are a bit misleading)

Thanks for posting... I really thought that the VIN locking you mentioned was going to do it.

BUT... It didn't freakin work either.
I looked on SC's forums and it seems they just say...try again or call us???

Soooo I tried again and it didn't work :(
BUT I tried yet once again (now on 12 attempts) and this time actually "read" the disclaimer that you have to click "I Agree" and it worked this time???

Could it be that there is a time clock of some sort that knows that you spent time reading the disclaimer???
I believe I have seen some software programs that would not let you move on unless you scrolled to the bottom of the disclaimer???
Maybe it is something like this?

Anyone else that is having this issue, please try this and let us know if it works??

I am probablly just crazy thinking it is the fix after spending 4 hrs on this PITA prorammer...LOL

But in the end it is a good unit and does work

That's humorous. And come to think of it, I recall this being mentioned by Superchips in another thread here not too long ago. Didn't remember it earlier...

I imagine that there are some liability issues to them allowing us to disable tpms, so they want a record that you actually read and agreed to the limitations they set.
