I run tow tune and still put 87 octane in. Runs just fine with alot more low end. It turns my 37's a little better and added about 1.5 mpg.

Running 87 Octane with Tow tune. No Pinging or problems and more responsive over the 87 tune

I knew someone had to ask it somwhere on here.....

Looks like you have listed an '89 octane' as one of your poll choices. What tune is this. From looking on Superchips website, they have the 4 tunes that I listed in my poll. Is there another tune for 89 octane fuel?

First off, I love my Sprintbooster! Much better feel on the throttle, and seat of the
pants better acceleration.

That said, the Sprintbooster doesn't add anything as far as power or efficiency. It simply maps the drive by wire potentiometer connected to the throttle differently. It gives a much better feel at roll out from a stop, with less feathering of the clutch and throttle. For an automatic it will flash your torque converter more quickly, hitting the stall speed.

In all I like it a lot, just wouldn't displace my exhaust and intake upgrades. Not even sure I would put it in front of either of them nor my Flashpaq, although from a seat of the pants feel it was as or more effective than any of them.

So many of you like the 91. what gas are you running then? 93? We only have 87,89,93 around chitown. My wife's volvo runs 91 ( I assume as it's what's available in europe?) so I run to half tank and alternate 89 and 93. It can run on any though.

It was a typo, meant 87
On mine there is also 93 performance and since my poll there has been this option added with an update, Crawl
lots of selections

I'm only running the 91 tune (on 91 gas) because I can't find 93 anywhere around here. If I could find 93, then that is what I would do.

Getting a Flashpaq this week, we have 93 octane fuel here, if I use the 91/tow tune and use 93 fuel is there an issue?

Or if I use a 93 tune then get in a situation on a trip with only 91 Available will tear something all to pieces?

You forgot to add Crawl setting. It works great in the muddy trails.
