08 JKU Rubi - factory gears, 3" lift, 35s, CAI, and running 91 performance tune with mostly 93 octane gas. Runs like a completely different jeep and much much more driveable!

No. If you run at least that octane or higher, you'll be perfectly fine. It only becomes a problem if you tried to run a lower octane gasoline on a higher tune. That's where the problems start. But if you run the 91 tune and keep it to 91 or 93 gas, you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm getting mine today. Since we're both in Louisville we can share stories on which setting works best.

My experience with Sprintboosters is that they SUCK if you can't turn them off on the trail. I had one of the first chips installed that was not adjustable and I couldn't manage my speed on the trail which made rock crawling a pain in the a$*^!!!

Anyone know how to detect ping without hearing it? I cannot hear (deaf) and would like another way to detect ping. I am running 87 tune on 87 (today 89) and was wondering about this.
