The alignment guy said 2 full truns was a 1/2 degree when he first did the alignment. Since I only turned it 1 full turn, I hope Im sitting a little over 6 degrees. He also told me the cam bolts put the caster at 4 degrees. Im glad I got rid of those things.

You guys are doing it in the wrong place. I needs to be under the pinion or here. Read this article. http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ignment#caster

He wanted that weird vertical diff angle division bilateral force divided by the barometric pressure. I know where to measure castor, the same place you got, the other poster wanted somthing else, maybe he's just into math

oh I see... My bad.

Measure the distance of all the control arms. Add the distance laterally from the top control to the bottom control arm. then add or subtract the distance laterally from the axles moutning points. Get your top number and your bottom number. Whichever is bigger is how the alxe is kicked out or pulled in.

I bet no one understood what I just said but if you wanna do some crazy math this theory will work. I just dont care enough to do it.

I finally took the JK out for a test drive. I still have a vibe at 60 mph. I guess Ill go one more turn and see what happens.

Anyone know how much caster is affected by one full turn?

It was at 6.7/6.8 at the last alignment shop, but I had a vibe. I have turned the arms 2 full rotations shorter. Im just curious as to where Im sitting right now before I take it into the alignment shop.
