Why is there drilling required to install the steering stabilizer...not a step required of Fox Racing or Skyjacker stabilizers?

If I remember correctly the bracket that comes with the kit attatches the stabilizer a little higher than the stock one.

Just finished mine about 10 min. ago. A 1/2 drill bit didn't work on mine it needed to be a little bigger so 17/32 may be needed? Not hard at all if you have big enough metrics and a torque wrench. It would have been nice if the instructions would have said to install the studs on the brackets before you mount them! Or maybe I'm just not as smart as most people Good luck. If you need help ask

Yep, instructions say "15/16 drill bit" Who has that??? I used a 1/2 and reemed it out, used a little Astro Glide, and the bolt popped right in.

Good to hear that I'm not the only one that thought that would've been great if the instructions mentioned that.

Pre-dented ones must come without boots, I didn't get one. Woulda threw it away anyhow. It's a mud and goo trap.
