Default Suspension components

Hello all , the last lift i installed was on my 79 cj when i completely restored it , well i just ordered my 12 jk and have all my goodies in the garage and ready to go ! But now my question ... I purchased the aev dualsport 3.5 lift , and when i looked at the directions i quickly realized how much things have changed . I will doing the lift myself , but i'm afraid new terms like " upper and lower control arms " and "rear trackbar " ( and everything else ) seems a bit foreign to me . Can anyone post a diagram labeling the suspension components on a 2012 wrangler , to give me an headstart on the instruction sheet ? Much thanks

This should help you figure out most of what you'll need to know. The rear is similar only without the steering components.

If you go to the projecct-jk page there is a write up on basic front end alignment that has a real nice picture of most of what you are looking for, as well as great write up on installs.
I think this is the dircect link to the picture. http://project-jk.com/wpg2?g2_itemId=49335

Also very helpful after the lift is installed.

I just installed this lift 3 weeks ago. Wasn't too bad for a total suspension newbie. Some of the direction steps & photos need updating. Print the directions in color or view online, as the black & white photos are not real detailed. Feel free to contact me if u have any questions. Good luck!
