Trektop NX brackets and hardtop?

Trektop NX brackets and hardtop?

Does anyone have experience with the Trektop NX brackets and whether the hardtop can go over them or do they need to be removed when going back to the hardtop? Can't seem to find a straight answer after a prolonged "google" session.
