Default Suspension and leveling kit

I have a '12 2-door with a 1.5" leveling kit on 33's. I'm considering a 2.5" coil lift, but want to keep the 33's. Thoughts, concerns, ideas...and does anyone have pics if they're running this set-up?

I ran the same setup for a while with 285/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Currently I have the RockKrawler 2.5 X Factor lift with the same tires. I have a lot of room in my wheel wells, but not stupid room.

If you don't do flat fenders I say go for it. You'll get more flex and performance out of the coil lift. Which coil lift were you looking at?

Going to a 2.5" coils lift will do nothing to make your jeep "flex" more.
If you want to get a 2.5" then get it. Is there some other question that you were trying to ask?

Wouldn't the 2.5" coils have more travel than the stock coils and spacers?

They might, might not, depends on the brand, type of coil, ans spring rate. If paired with existing shocks there would be no difference in suspension travel at all.

Not looking to do flat fenders right now, and I'm leaning toward the Teraflex with shocks. That should give me more travel and flex. Concerned about the combination of leveling/lift making it look like I'm driving on 4 spares, not 33's.

Maybe do a search for TF 2.5 lift and 33's? Look at some pics and see if you like the look?

I've seen some, just looking for feedback from owners, and, hopefully, see some more rigs.

Just jack your jeep 1" and you will see what it will look like.
