Default suspension rattle?

I have spidertrax spacers and a straight pipe on my JK.

Every time I go over bumps and the like I can hear the wheels "slap" or "rattle" over them. Is this normal for a 2 door with the "heavy duty" suspension? I have checked the lug nuts and all are good (both spacer and wheel). I have tried to rock the jeep to check for bearing issues, and all are good. Maybe its my heat shield? Any way to silence the heat shield without removing it? Since I will save up for a MBRP exhaust sometime.

Maybe I'm just not used to it, since I come from a subaru WRX.

i seriously doubt that you are hearing your wheels rattle. more likely, they are rubbing up on something like your fenders or pinch seam in the back. if it really is a "rattle" you are hearing, i would check the length of your exhaust being that you modified it, could be it's hitting your frame or something else.

I jerked the tailpipe around and there was no sound. And I'm running stock tires on the spacers. I tried to go over a speed bump at about 15mph to fully hit the suspension good. There was not a sound. The sound I hear is usually going over a sharp bump or similar stuff on the roads. I am deaf so I can't pin point the sound really.

the Jeep was quiet and fine when I got it. I installed the spacers and intake and muffler delete all at once.

two days later, this started.
