Actually makes me consider getting the front and rear and putting them in my TJ. I know I would have to get new mounts but for 32 splines, lockers, and the added width but not quite full width, it seems like a decent deal.

Didn't even get two months on the darn things.

Ouch!!! Sorry to hear that.

Where you wheeling when it broke, or on the street?

simply put.....5.13 gears and a Dana 30 are a bad mix. That is to much gear for that small of an axle.......you chipped a tooth due to the fact that there isn't enough gear contact with the pinion gear.

Anybody else had problems with 5.13's and a Dana 30?? I just ordered some, hopefully im not making a mistake. I would figure superior would have tested these and made sure they work when properly setup.........im thinking it may have been an installer error.

Well Superior also made a set of 4.88's for the TJ Dana 30 and those were pretty damn weak and were not recomended by tons of shops for this very reason. Since the new D30 is a high pinion reverse rotation that would make it a stonger set-up but not sure how much stronger with a larger ring gear......

Yeah I ran the 4.88's in my TJ Dana 30 before I went to 60's, but I never had a problem with the R&P
