Default Sway bar disco's on the rear

I have my Rock Krawler adjustable disconnects sitting here. I had Teraflex ones up front prior to getting my lift so I didn't use these ones. I was wondering if I could use my RK ones on the rear? If anyone has done this a pic is worth a thousand words. (although words are helpful too )

Thanks guys.

Since they are adjustable and probably more sturdy than what you have in the rear you could use them to get a better swaybar angle but I wouldn't disco them. Probably bolt them on and skip the pin part completely.

I've got the RK solid rear links back there now. Just thought maybe I could put my RK disco's to work back there and go fully disconnected while offroad.

Why wouldnt you disconnect the rear while off road? Or why would you. What are the consequences And the advantages of that?

Discos in the front allow the axel to articulate, in the rear it would be more likely to allow your cab to lean in an off camber situation. The rear sway keeps your vehicle more stable on and off road.

The rear sway bar is soft enough that it allows tons of flex while connected. General consensus is that the stability it provides is well worth leaving it on.

Just as a note, my 95 Cherokee came from the factory with NO rear sway bar, part of the offroad package it had. I would disconnect the front and have great flex. Not certain it really matters off road if the back has a sway bar. Apparently, jeep didn't think the Cherokee needed it on road either.

Give it a shot.
