Default Sway Bar Length

Somehow by swapping from a 2.5" TerraFlex BB Kit to an 2.5" OME Kit to improve the ride the sway bar links got mixed up. I seem to remember (after the fact) that the TerraFlex kit came with longer rear sway bar links and that the old rear sway bar links were supposed to be installed in the front. Now the OME spings/shocks are installed and I ended up with 10 3/4" links in the rear and 8 3/4 links in the front, with 5" links left with no home. The OME 'ready-to-use-all-inclusive-kit' did not come with sway bar links, as such it can be assumed that the stock links (whichever length they were) did not have to be modified. The ride (with the light duty OME kit has not improved much), is this attributable to the longer links? I am not a suspension expert, what is the purpose of the length of these sway bar links and what is the proper configuration/length of these links front and rear (4 door JK) with a light duty 2/2.5" OME kit? Emphasis is 100% on a comfort ride and 0% on offroadability.

Any help is appreciated from someone with too many links... Thanks.

The ends of your bars should be close to horizontal. Generally, if you have 3 sets, from shortest to longest, you'll have:
Trash
Front
Rear.

The sway bar should be centered in your travel. This typically leaves them pointing slightly above horizontal because you have less travel going up then down.
